Dear Parents/Guardians:
Please remember that when dropping off and picking up your children from school each day, you must park in a legal parking spot. Do not double park, block any of our neighbors’ driveways, or block the crosswalks around the school. This creates congestion that blocks crosswalks and jeopardizes the safety of our students and their families. While this may require you to park some distance from the school and then walk to drop off or pick up your child, it is essential that you do so for the safety of our students and their families. Additionally, ensure that your car is turned off when you are parked in the school perimeter as the exhaust from the engine can endanger the health of our students.
Be advised that I have contacted the 104 Precinct for assistance with this matter and people who are illegally parked may be ticketed.
